A true leader of people has passed on.

Victoria Harbour Ferry and Nanaimo Harbour Ferry are saddened by the news that Chief Viola Wyse, Chief of the Snuneymuxw First Nations had passed away.  Chief Wyse was highly regarded in our community as a strong visionary whose strengths included a deep commitment to finding common ground for all peoples to work and live in harmony.  She will be missed… our sincere condolences to her family, friends and community members.
